Earth Day 2020 fell during a time when most people couldn’t celebrate. We were thrilled to revisit themes of peace, action, and harmony at the Shenandoah Green Chalk Art Festival.
We (Kathy and Deena) met at a hotel parking lot early Saturday morning. Each group picked a parking spot away from other groups to create our displays.
There were so many great pieces celebrating nature, animals, mankind, activism. People of all ages came out despite the 90+ degree heat.
The Family That Creates Together... 
That really was a lot of fun…………despite the heat. For our Florida relatives 90 doesn’t seem like much but for the mountains it was pretty hot!!
