What a special treat we had, getting a virtual art lesson from Ruthie! The Warner boys, Kathy, and our friends the Quebe family learned how to make batik art. Earth Day 2020 fell during a time when most people couldn’t celebrate. We were thrilled to revisit themes of peace, action, and harmony at the Shenandoah Green Chalk Art Festival. We (Kathy and Deena) met at a hotel parking lot early Saturday morning. Each group picked a parking spot away from other groups to create our displays.
