I eagerly await the time when the current health crisis is over and I can get together with my mom, sister, and daughter. While we are in “shelter in place” these musical events are taking place:

*my sister, Ruthie, is taking guitar lessons via ZOOM. She is getting quite proficient!

*my daughter, Deena, is learning to play her ukulele (quite a change from her days of bass guitar in high school and college!)

*I am relearning to play my little red concertina.

AND, I am planning a jam in my garden…………can you imagine the songs we can play together when it’s safe again? Of course I am planning the menu for our hootenanny and looking through my journal came upon some illustrations for my favorite recipes.

Until we can get together, know I love you and look forward to our garden party.
